Training and services to help prepare you for the workforce
The Work Ready Program works with recipients of Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) and the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). These programs provide temporary financial assistance for people looking for employment. Individuals are referred to the Work Ready Program by the County Assistance Office (CAO).
Work Ready provides those seeking employment with life skills and basic job readiness training. During case management sessions, we assess the individual’s skill levels and the areas in which they need additional training. Individuals practice their new skills by volunteering at BCAP and in the community. Examples of these skills include food service, housekeeping services, and retail skills, among others.
Eligibility requirements
